He was born on the fifteenth of October 1937 in Sverdlovsk (Ekaterenburg).
Education: Institute of Law In Harkiv, specialty “Jurisprudence” (1960-1964), graduate course (1966-1968);
In 1969 he defended the Candidate theses;
In 1984 he defended the Doctor these;
In 1986 he received an academic degree Professor;
From 1966 to1987 he had being a Lecturer, Master teacher, Associate Professor, Professor of National Law Academy titled in honor of Yaroslav Mudriy;
From 1987 to 1997 he had being a Chancellor of institute of further training of SU General public prosecutor’s office (since 01.02.1992 - SU General public prosecutor’s office of Ukraine);
In 1997 he became a senior assistant of Attorney General of Ukraine;
From 1997 to 2002 he had being Professor, Head of a chair of legal discipline of Law institute under National educational university in Harkiv titled in honor of Skovoroda;

Since 2002 he has being a professor of the Criminal Law and Criminology Department in National Mining University, state counselor of justice of the third category.
Directions of his scientific activities are learning the problems of a general part of criminal law of Ukraine, problems of criminal responsibility for crime against property.
He is an author of more than 100 scientific works, including 30 monographs, manuals and educational textbooks.
In 2007 he was awarded by Silver medal of National Mining university for merits in scientific and educational, organizational- administrative, social, socio-cultural and educative work, and also for the great contribution into university development.

Len' Valentin Valentinovich
Professor, Candidate of Law
| He was born on the forth of October 1961 in Zaporizzya.
From 1980 to 1983 he had being working in Weapon forces of Soviet Union.
From 1983 to 2007 he had being working in organs of Soviet’s Ministry of Home Affairs, retired Colonel of police.
In 1988 he graduated from a Dnipropetrovsk special school of Soviet’s Ministry of Home Affairs.
In 1993 he graduated from a Ukrainian academy of domestic affairs, specialty “Jurisprudence”.
In 2003 he defended a thesis for receiving a scientific degree Candidate of Law for specialty 12.00.08 – Criminal Law and Criminology, criminal-executive law.
In 2005 he received a scientific degree Associate Professor in department of criminal law. |
In 2008 he became a Doctor of law philosophy
From 1983 to1990 he had being a policeman, junior inspector of trench-raid, operative detective of trench-raid in Zaporizzya.
From 1990 to1996 he had being an investigator, deputy of a head of investigator department of Ordzzonikidze RV ZMU U Ministry of Home Affairs of Ukraine in Zaporizzya aregion, senior investigator of Ukraine Ministry of Home Affairs admistration in Zaporizzya region .
Since July 1996 he has being engaged with scientific-educational activity.
From 1996 to 2000 he had being a Lector of department of criminal law and criminology of the Zaporozhia legal institute of Ministry of Home Affairs of Ukraine.
From 2000 to 2003 he had being a senior Lector of department of criminal law and criminology of the Zaporozhia legal institute of Ministry of Home Affairs of Ukraine.
From 2003 to 2004 –he had being an Associate Professor of department of criminal law and criminology of the Zaporozhia legal institute of Ministry of Home Affairs of Ukraine.
From 2004 to 2008 he had being a chief of the department of criminal law and criminology of the Dnepropetrovsk state university of internal affairs.
From 2008 to 2011 he had being a deputy of the Zaporozhia legal institute of the Dnepropetrovsk state university of internal affairs from the advanced study.
A professor of criminal law and criminology department of law faculty of State higher educational establishment is the "National Mining University» since October, 2011.
He is an author (coauthor) of more than 100 scientific, scientifically – practical, educational and educational – methodical works, in particular of three monographs. Eleven scientific works are published in oversea editions.
He has prepared the candidate of legal sciences. Also he leads the two graduate students, who work on dissertation researches.
Len' is a deputy of editor-in-chief of scientific works collection «Announcer of the legal institute in Zaporozhia » and international scientific magazine «Power. Man. Law».
He is a member of criminal law association of Ukraine and a member of criminology association of Ukraine.
He is a member scientifically – methodical council at the office of public prosecutor of Zaporozhia area.
Also Len’ is a member of the specialized scientific council of defence of candidate's dissertations in the Dnepropetrovsk state university of internal affairs.
He has been awarded with an order «For his bravery» and with eleven governmental and department medals, six department distinctions. Has a distinction of Ministry of Home Affairs of Ukraine «For a wound».

KHRYAPINSKIY PETRO VASYLYOVICH
Professor, doctor of legal sciences

He was born on April, 10, 1956 in Zaporizhzhya.
He has a higher legal education: in 1980 he graduated from the Kharkiv legal institute of the name of Dzerzhinskogo, speciality «Jurisprudence».
In 2002 he defended the dissertation to receive a scientific degree of candidate of legal sciences, speciality 12.00.08, a criminal law and criminology; criminally executive law.

In 2010 he defended the dissertation to receive a scientific degree of doctor of legal sciences, speciality 12.00.08, a criminal law and criminology; criminally executive law.
He has been working in the criminal law and criminology department since 2009.
Professor Khryapinskiy is a famous legislator. He is a founder of scientifically research doctrine of criminal law that is related to encouragement in a criminal law and legislation. Professor Khryapinskiy successfully combines scientifically research activity and an advocate practice.
He is an author of more than 150 scientific and scientific–methodical publications, for example, 7 monographs, 3 textbooks, 5 scientific -practical manuals. He has prepared 4 candidates of legal sciences; nowadays he leads 5 graduate students.
He is a member of two specialized scientist’s councils from defence of doctoral (candidate) dissertations in the Classic private university (Zaporizhzhya). Also he is a member of two editorial advices of scientific magazines «State and regions: scientific-publishing magazine. Law» and «Law and state administration: collection of scientific labours».
